Jackson grew up boating and fishing in the Savannah waterways from a very young age. With an uncle and grandfather who were both commercial shrimpers and a Father who loved all things fishing and boating, he learned from them and became the Angler and Captain he is today because of them. He built Homegrown Charters at the age of 18 after obtaining his OUPV 6-pack Captain’s license so he could share his love for fishing with others. He has now grown his clientele and is constantly meeting new families and anglers from all over who visit Savannah and are sent his way when they ask someone about fishing in the Savannah area.
